Review by hotel critic
Hanoi Sofia Hotel stole my heart during this recent city break, and I couldn't have asked for a better base. Nestled in Hoan Kiem, it's just a 15-minute stroll to the iconic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the rich history and vibrant street food scene-perfect for my travel-loving spirit! The rooms were air-conditioned and spacious, featuring comfy furnishings and a well-stocked mini-bar. I loved starting my mornings with an à la carte breakfast that offered plenty of delicious options. Plus, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful-they even assisted with arranging a day trip to Sapa that perfectly fit our itinerary. What truly stood out was the seamless service, especially the luggage storage for our Halong Bay adventure, allowing us to roam the city unencumbered. For anyone crafting their own Vietnamese escape, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem in the heart of Hanoi!
